Profit Run for May 20th, 2014
It was certainly nice having a few days off for the Victoria Day Holiday yesterday. Except for being confused about which day of the week it was (hey, it’s early here) I did very well today. In fact, it was as close to a “perfect” trading day as I’ve had in a while.
What made today different? It wasn’t the markets. While the follow-through was acceptable, it wasn’t outstanding. What made the difference was discipline. I don’t know about you, but I get tired as the week goes on. That’s why it’s important to take some time off, away from the markets, from time to time. When you come back things look a hold lot clearer.
That’s not to say there weren’t challenges today, there were, but the $775 profit attests to how we handled ourselves.
