Back to Trading School

Trading School is Back in Session.

It’s that time of year again. The summer doldrums are ending, and everyone is going back to school.  Now is a great time to do some personal housecleaning and mindful accounting.

  • Are you ready to own your success
  • Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone?

It’s a fact: People who play an active role in their own education make a huge difference in their own success.

Here are some trading school tips and reminders of things you can do to prepare for the upcoming active trading year:

Meet the Teacher

For many new Indicator Warehouse traders, one of the biggest fears is “Will I like my new teacher?” Breaking the ice early on is one of the best ways to calm your fears. Take advantage of our open door policy. Erich Senft, our trading school lead trainer, welcomes e-mails, and even more importantly loves questions and interaction in the trade room.

Tour the Trading School

Familiarize yourself with all the resources available to you. Have registered for the daily morning trading/training sessions? Have you explored the training in the IW Member Area?

Connect with Friends

A good trading friend can make all the difference when heading back into trading. Have you signed up for the IW Facebook user group community?

Get Supplies

Review your trading school checklist. Having the right tools will make all the difference. While keeping the basics in mind, allow for a couple of system add-ons or splurge on a complete trading solution. Having reliable trading tools makes trading a lot more fun.

Ease into the Routine

Switching from a summer to a more active trading schedule can be stressful. Make sure to set the alarm clock, go through your morning rituals, and get into your office on time. Routines help people feel comfortable, and establishing a solid trading routine will make the transition into active trading season go much smoother.

Do Your Homework

Remember a little bit of practice goes a long way when learning new trading tools. Take some time and get comfortable with new trading software before diving into real money trading.
